I'm interseted in alot of stuff. My first passion and desire in my life is for my Creator the Lord Jesus Christ. He is what is important to me. I enjoy time with my friends just sitting back talking and joking around. Watching movies of all sorts is good. I also love outdoor sports like swimming, tubbing, batmitten, tennis, walks in the park and more.

Unresolved Feelings
Well we're going through the process still of trying to find a new church home. Over the course of the year we weren't liking the way our church was going as far as directions and all. Things were going on so we just spoke to each other(the wife and I) and then spoke to some staff about it. Well things started going down hill when I stepped down from the MediaShout presentation done each Sunday. I found a replacement and informed the pastor. He was extremely concerned about having someone or not for that weekend and I assured him that after having done double duty for a few months I've gotten someone else training and I'm taking a break. After that not another word from the pastor....ever. Then a few weeks later I get a letter wanting to "get to know me better", mind you've I've been there for several years. Well I get to reading it and the 2nd page is a background check. Now if they are "getting to know me" why do a background check? Mind you their was nothing in the first part about a background check. So I refuse because 1 I've been in the childs ministry for about 4-5 years at that point; 2 only I recieved one not my wife who is also working in the kids ministry. I bring this up to one of the guys in the "men of honor" group and a 10-12 days later she gets one. We address it with the church because all of this is shady. And its labelled my "miscommunication" from the pastor's wife. So we start looking else where. Not a single word from them since. Now this may be usual or whatknot for some of you but for me its a first time experience. My former pastor always stated that he takes being someone's pastor a huge deal and that he takes it to heart, but then writes me and the wife off. I mean how is it being a good pastor by just doing that? Basically, for me I'm angry about it. Don't make a commitment to me if you can't keep it. We had a few things change a the church that was kept quite and they just wrote most of our age bracket off that wasn't there afterwords. Very sad. This is just my way of venting. Ultimately I gotta work through this I know but it still sucks that people even pastors are like that, but then again their human as well.
