In Romans chapter 12 it is writen to hate what is evil,cling to what is good. It doesnt imply to hate the paople that commit evil acts ,like the ones done in Colorado today, where there were 2 seperate shootings at 2 Christian gathering places. In fact, the Bibles words are the opposite. Read the rest of the chapter. Its not natural for people to love there enemies , it doesnt make humanly sense to love people that we dont like.God is the origin of love. love comes from and leads to God.Im not talking about just being nice or compasonate ,anybody can do that and thats great. There are people who hate Christians for whatever reason , dont hate those people back. The only way to love them is to begin to see them as God sees them, and letHis love and grace flow through us to them. When God lives in our hearts, then, and only then, can we really love as he wants us to love. Beloved, let us love one another: for love is God;and every one that loveth is born of God, and Knoweth God. John 4:7 reflect back at me yall.

johanna 10 months agoI was invited today to respond to a question that you're the host of. The question was; "Does reading the Bible on a daily basis effect our usefulness as Faithful Christian Servants in today's world?if so ,how and why?" The answer is YES, if we let it. As Christians we're suppose to walk out what we learn in God's word. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. However, to grow in faith and to be truly useful as a christian we can't be hearers only, we must be doers. WWJD was a great start but it needs to shift to DWJD (Do What Jesus Did)- Cool question! |
